Pattihio Municipal Theatre Limassol Ltd is one of the most important performing arts cultural organizations. The theatre is available to any organisation in the town (schools, trade unions, educational and youth
organisations, cultural associations, classical and modern dance groups, amateur and professional theatre companies, the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC), government and other bodies) to stage performances, hold meetings, cinema shows, seminars, national celebrations and every type of cultural event.

We are committed to preserving the privacy of all members and visitors and we understand that they entrust important non-public personal data (as defined in the General Data Protect Regulation – GDPR, regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of the 27 April 2016), to us, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard this data.

  • participants at Client’s meetings and events organized by us;
  • users of our or Client’s websites; and third parties (such as online service provider or single sign on authority).

Following the reception of the data, an electronic profile is created in our proprietary tools for each person or entity (the “Contact Profile”).

The Contact Profile may contain but is not limited to:

  • gender;
  • date of birth;
  • address;
  • phone numbers;

  • organization or company of employment and/or job title;
  • field of activity and/or interest;
  • credit card references/numbers;
  • travel destinations;
  • travel schedules;

When you register with and/or use this Website:

(a)      you may be asked to provide certain information such as your name, address and other contact details and credit/debit card details. We do not store your credit/debit card details;

(b)      we may gather other information about you, including personal data provided in any messages you send via the Website and any emails and letters that you send to us. (a)      to register you with our Website and to manage an account you hold with us;

In addition to creating Contact Profiles, we use your data for the following purposes and for which you give your consent:

  1. a) Bookings: The Contact Profiles are stored in a database as a reference document to be consulted each time a booking is to be made. When a booking is made, we create a booking code that contains all of the personal data along with the booking information that is needed to fulfil your request and to fulfil regulatory requirements for certain destinations. To make bookings, we might need to transfer personal data to various third-party travel suppliers (such as airlines, hotels, car rental companies, online booking tool companies, safety and security tracking providers and computer booking systems) within your home country or in another country where you may be traveling and often also to government bodies for certain destinations.

 

  1. b) Consolidation of travel data: At the request of a client, we or a third party may prepare information reports that summarize and analyse the expenditures per destination, per travel supplier, etc. Such reports which may include certain personal data from your Contact Profile are then submitted to the requesting Client.

 

  1. c) Compliance with travel policy: At the request of a Client, we may report on your compliance with the event compliance policy, budget compliance policy or travel policy of such Client and identify any exceptions to the compliance.

 

  1. d) Promotion and marketing: We may use your data to personalize your experience on the website by presenting advertisements that are more relevant to you, to send you marketing communications that we believe may be of interest to you, including information about our services, case studies, thought leadership or whitepapers, blog updates, etc.

 

  1. e) Other purposes: We may use your data as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to enforce our terms and conditions; (e) to protect our operations; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, you or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain;

(a)      to other companies in our group of companies  to obtain support services in connection with travels, meetings and events services and/or other services to its Clients, such as emergency online booking services, hotel booking services, ground transportation requirements or airline ticket issuance, badge provider and, in some cases, personal data will be shared with these third parties in order to pursue our mission and goals.

(b)      subject this privacy policy, to our employees and agents and other third parties, some of whom may be located outside the EEA, to administer your account, to  provide or arrange for the provision of information for the organization of the Congress and to provide you with assistance and respond to queries you may have in respect of your registration and membership;

(c)      to agents who (on our behalf) who will help us in the organization of the Congress;

(d)      to anyone to whom we believe has a right to know your information for the best preparation and organization of the Congress; and/or

(e)      if we have a duty pursuant to the law to do so.

We may also share information about you and the conduct of your account with credit reference agencies, other lenders and relevant third parties including our legal advisors and debt recovery agencies.

Crime prevention

In order to protect our customers and us from fraud and theft, we may pass on information that we obtain as a result of carrying out identity checks and other information in our customer records, including how you conduct your account, to other companies within our group and to organisations involved in fraud prevention and detection, to use in the same way.
